This is still one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. I wrote with my friend, Jay Knowles. You never know where the inspiration for a song is going to strike. Sometimes songs come from personal experiences. Sometimes a song’s story and characters are completely made up, but there is still truth in the emotion and essence of story.
